Who we are
Solia On-Demand is operated by Solia Direct. We help you find tests and panels offered by participating, independent laboratories. We do not own or operate those laboratories, and we are not the seller of the testing you order.
Information we handle
Depending on how you use the site, we handle the following:
- Browsing information: the pages you view and the searches you run on the site, used to show you results.
- Account information: the email address and password you use to sign in. Sign-in is provided by Solia's authentication service.
- Order and result information: if your account is linked to a participating laboratory, your orders and laboratory-released results are retrieved from that laboratory's records through Solia's secure systems and displayed to you. We display this information as the laboratory reported it.
Ordering happens with the laboratory
When you choose a test, you continue to the participating laboratory's own storefront. Payment, identity, provider review, specimen collection and order fulfilment are handled there. The laboratory's own privacy notice governs the information you give it. Please review that notice before you order.
How we use information
We use information to:
- operate the site, show you tests, panels and laboratories, and return search results;
- let you sign in and view your own orders and released results;
- keep the service secure and prevent misuse;
- meet legal obligations.
What we do not do
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use the site to show advertising, and we do not display your results to anyone other than you. We do not currently collect email addresses for marketing; the email sign-up on the homepage is not open.
Sharing
We share information only as needed to run the service: with the participating laboratory whose records you view, with service providers that host and secure the site on our behalf, and where required by law or to protect rights and safety.
Security and retention
We use access controls so that signed-in users can see only their own records, and we do not expose laboratory report files through the site. No system is perfectly secure. We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law; laboratories keep their own records under their own policies.
Your choices
You can sign out at any time, and you can ask to access, correct or delete information we hold about your account, subject to legal requirements. Requests about laboratory orders and results should also be directed to the laboratory that holds the record. See also our Consumer Health Data Privacy Notice and Cookies and Local Storage notice.
Children
The site is intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this notice
We may update this notice. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
